Cool Sams Overview…

Cool Sams Chapter was established July 1988 with 13 couples from the Houston area. In September of 2018, there are now 30 couples with a full paid membership and 6 as associates. The purpose of our organization is for members to enjoy fun and fellowship while RVing. We also do community service by donating to several charities.

Our idea of fun is to go to various RV Parks within 250 miles from Houston each month, usually on the second weekend of the month.

We play card games and dominoes, do crafts, visit interesting spots in the area, go out to eat and share a covered dish meal. Our club had grown to 48 members as of January 2009.  Most of us did not know each other before joining Cool Sams Club, but we have all become good friends.  Our mutual interest is our fondness for traveling in our RV’s.

There are many advantages of being a member of a Good Sam Chapter–the support we give each other, fellowship, fun and games.  We help each other by sharing information on care and maintenance of our rigs. We are a RV family.

We welcome you as a visitor to our Cool Sams Chapter.  To join a Chapter you must be a Good Sam Member.  The following is an overview of some things about our Chapter that you might like to know:
